Familiarize with Exam Levels
Teachers are encouraged to review the updated exam level descriptions and categories to ensure that each student is placed appropriately. Home-schooled students, learners who have studied Italian outside a traditional school setting, and college students are also welcome to participate; they should contact the NIE Director to determine the most suitable exam level. Please note that categories and level descriptions were updated beginning with the 2020 exam.
Choosing a level that does not reflect your students' proficiency level or years of study will be cause for disqualification.
