Exam Registration Information

What do I need to know before registering my students?
  • Before registering students, teachers should familiarize with the structure of the exam, in particular they need to consider the exam levels and categories, as well as the typologies of students that are participating. Click on the links below to read a detailed information on these three criteria.  Home-schooled students, students who have studied Italian outside a traditional school setting, and college students can participate in the competition, but should contact the NIE director to determine the exam level ([email protected]).

Request Registration Code
Select Exam Level(s) AND CATEGORIES
  • Use your new Lingco account to select the exam level(s) and categories. Ensure you follow the guidelines for choosing the appropriate level, as selecting a level that does not reflect student proficiency or years of study will lead to disqualification.
Invoice and Payment
  • You will then select the total number of "seats" (students) and include general information. This generates your invoice and a code needed to finalize payment. Visit the payment page for full details.
Student Setup and Onboarding
  • Assign Students: Within Lingco, assign your students to the correct Exam Level(s) and Categories.
  • Invite: Send the invitation link to your students to register and join.
  • Complete Demographic Questionnaire: Ensure students complete the mandatory demographic questionnaire on Lingco. You can preview the questionnaire here to help students prepare.
  • IT Alert: Please contact your school's IT department and request they whitelist Lingco's domain to ensure seamless receipt of all exam-related messages and invitations.

For more detailed and step-by-step instructions, please use the Registration Guide linked here.
